Gobble, gobble!

We had our 24 week ultrasound and checkup this morning! Praise God all is still looking great! Both babies have been growing a lot... they are now measuring 1lb. 10oz. each!! Our little girl has caught up in size with her brother, who has been hogging up a lot of the space in there. Despite all the movement and growth, there are no warning signs of pre-term labor activity, and cervical length remains in great shape. The only thing to monitor (and to pray for!!) is the fluid back-up in the boy's kidneys. The amount has increased slightly since last time, however, Dr. Simmons says this is usually a post-natal concern that will right itself after he is born. Enjoy the pictures!! Next check-up is in 2 weeks on Decmeber 5th, with another ultrasound probably before Christmas! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

What is going on in there?!

Went to the OB for another checkup... tried to listen to the heartbeats, but there was too much static from the twins playing hopscotch or tackle football. They are quite the little movers and shakers! John and I are playing the name game. What a daunting task! We found a great book though with 100,000 names. We're still in Chapter "A". Another ultrasound is scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving! Hope our little turkeys have been baking up some more inches and pounds. They must be, because according to the OB's measurements, my belly is ahead of the growth curve by 2 weeks. It's hard to imagine getting bigger between now and March.
