Merry Christmas!

It truly was "the most wonderful time of the year!"

We had the twins' 9 month check up at the beginning of the month. Drew was 22 lbs. 6 oz. and 29 inches long. Eden was 17 lbs. and 27 and 3/4 inches long. They were definitely more hard to handle in the exam room, and they spent a lot of time laughing in the mirror and trying to roll around on the exam table. Thank goodness John was there!

We had an early Christmas with the Long's in Atlanta, and it was a lot of fun!! Drew & Eden had fun opening their presents, hanging out with Grandma, Grandpa, & Mimi, and playing with their new buses, farm, and stackers.

Of course, all that hard work is very tiring:

On Christmas Eve, we decided to take Drew & Eden to visit Santa for the first time. I was a little nervous because Drew fell asleep in the car, and I wasn't sure #1 how happy he'd be when he woke up, and #2 how he'd react to Santa. My fears were unfounded though, because they were AWESOME!! John & I stood by the photographer clapping and cheering to get them to smile. Whenever we stopped, they both turned to look at this strange man with a white beard in a red suit, but they never once cried! It was soooo cute!!

Christmas morning, the babies were excited and ready to get up! First, they enjoyed some pancakes for breakfast....

Then they spent the rest of the day playing and exploring their gifts!

Which then, of course, led to this...

Do you see a pattern here? :-)
