The Next Chapter!
When John and I moved to Asheville, we looked for and bought a house that was familiar to us.
11 years later, we have decided to venture into the unfamiliar. Here is a rundown what's happened so far in 2017:
-In January, we started the search for land.
-On February 17th, we were under contract on 4.33 acres of vacant land.
-On April 17th, we closed on the property.
-On May 10th, our house was listed FSBO.
-On June 4th, we had an offer presented, and we were under contract the next day.
-On July 22nd, we moved into a 2-bedroom apartment.
-On July 31st, our house sale was completed.
It sounds concise, but it's been a whirlwind, to say the least. In the midst of all that chaos, was finding a builder and deciding on a house plan. After countless website clicks and searches, we found the one: Modern Farmhouse! Now, the real fun begins!
