"Haven't we told you two to share??"

Another ultrasound and checkup today at 28 weeks. We've got some great video and pictures, especially of the faces!! 

Good news: It looks like the fluid in the boy's kidneys went back down below a centimeter, which is a praise!! However, he has turned breech (head up), so we're hoping he still has enough space and time to do a 180 here in the next few weeks! Otherwise, he's looking good at 2lbs. 15oz!

The girl has been growing too, but not at the same rate as before. She has made it to 2lbs. 7oz., about a half a pound smaller than the boy. Although there has to be a 25% difference to be considered a "discordancy", today's measurements indicate a 16% difference. So, we'll get to have yet another ultrasound in 3 weeks to hopefully see if she starts catching back up. Our prayer is that they will go back to sharing the placenta & nutrients they way that they have been up to this point.

Shay also got her blood drawn for glucose tolerance test, for which we should get the results later on next week to check for gestational diabetes. Oddly enough, she didn't gain any weight since her visit 2 weeks ago, so if you have any extra holiday leftovers and treats you'd like to share, give us a call! ;-) However, she has had quite a growth spurt since November, so the total weight gain is in a good range.
