Our second month!
Wow, time is just flying by!!
Drew and Eden are now 2 months old! I can't believe how fast they are growing! They are really starting to become aware of their surroundings and are starting to interact with Mommy and Daddy! They sleep pretty well, and we are down to just one night feeding, which is a welcome relief for us.
At their 2nd month checkup, Drew was a whopping 12 lbs. and Eden was 9 lbs. 9 oz.! They had their first round of immunizations, which was more stressful for John and I than for them... although they let out some pretty ferocious cries to let us know their displeasure!
We have enjoyed many visitors lately... in addition to our families and friends here in Asheville, we have seen John's friends Eric and Chris from Atlanta, as well as my former roommate Kristen and her husband Eric! It has been so fun to show them off to our loved ones!
We are starting to venture out into the world now that Spring has arrived! Our first restaurant outing was to Chili's with Kristen and Eric, and we've also taken them to our Saturday morning breakfast spot, and Carrabba's for Grammee and Papa J's birthdays. The twins are quite the local celebrities when we are out and about! I have also taken them on walks at the park when the weather is nice.
All in all, we are definitely getting used to the "new normal". They are so precious to us and we are having a great time!
